At Magic Bag Tracker, we were tired of missing our favorite bags.
To address this, we have worked extensively to develop a solution for automatic booking and notification of Too Good to Go bags.
And every time a bag is available, we book it for you or send you a notification, depending on what you've chosen. You get the bag or you're notified when it's available.
The automatic booking and the alert mentioned above is the only solution to get Too Good To Go alerts. Because the app doesn't offer them to keep users using the app and taking less popular bags, which are of lower quality.
There are no Too Good To Go notifications for bag availability. The only existing notification is to remind you that you have a bag to pick up. At least it prevents you from forgetting your bag!
Yes, we know it's unfortunate that there are no notifications because it forces us to stay on the app to get bags... sometimes impossible to get.
Since there are no Too Good To Go notifications for bag availability, you can't enable them.
However, you can enable app notifications to receive their push offers and reminders for your bags to pick up once reserved.
1. Open the Too Good To Go app on your phone.
2. Access settings (via the profile icon in the top right).
3. Select Notifications.
4. Enable the notifications you want to receive, such as: available offers near you and notifications for specific bags.
5. Make sure app notifications are accepted in your phone settings.
Too Good To Go allows you to customize your notifications to match your preferences. You can choose to be alerted for specific offers from your favorite stores.
If you find you're receiving too many alerts, you can adjust the frequency or disable certain notifications. Here's how to customize your alerts:
- Go to the Favorites section to manage the stores you follow.
- Click on a store and select Manage Notifications.
- Choose the type of notifications you want to receive (new bags, special offers, etc.). This allows you to filter notifications to receive only those relevant to you, for example only for bags available within a 5km radius around you.
Unfortunately, these are app notifications and not the ones for bag availability that you want.
Not receiving Too Good To Go alerts?
1. Check your phone settings and make sure notifications for Too Good To Go are enabled.
2. Make sure the app is up to date. Sometimes, simply restarting the app or phone can solve the issue. If the problem persists, try reinstalling the app.
3. Too many notifications? If you receive too many notifications, you can disable notifications for stores you don't visit often. To do this, modify the alert frequency by adjusting your preferences in the notification settings.
